Background

The online Public Inquiry starts at 10am on Tuesday 16th February 2021. There will usually be four sessions a day, each one lasting 1hr 15mins. Attending on the first day is most important, especially in the morning to hear Mr. Gareth Owens of Kirby Hill RAMS make his opening statement on behalf of the local community. Then at 7pm the same day, we would like EVERYONE to tune-in online for the:

SPECIAL EVENING SESSION FOR THE LOCAL COMMUNITY

  7 - 8:15PM TUESDAY 16TH FEBRUARY

Our Case Against the MSA

Our case is that there is no need for an MSA at Kirby Hill, with Wetherby Services being just 12 miles away on the A1(M). Also, such a massive development in the open countryside will cause substantial harm to the landscape, the character, appearance and identity of our rural area, the local road network, our already over-capacity sewers and the economy of the market town of Boroughbridge.
